Bachelor of Pharmacy is a four years degree course.
CUT-OFF RANKS (EAMCET)
Andhra Pradesh, for admission to the professional course like B.Tech,
B.Sc (Agri), B.D.S., B.Pharm, the Govt. of A.P, conducts an entrance
exam called EAMCET every year in the month of April/May. The students
are given ranking based on the marks obtained in the test and percentage of marks at intermediate level or 10 + 2 level.
SCHEDULE OF ADMISSION
Convenor (General) Quota: Category -A
Usually the admissions by the EAMCET convener start in July/Aug. and end by Sep/Oct. every year by announcing the schedule in the leading newspapers. After the counseling is over, they fix last day for spot admission at college level for left over seats. Ever year the schudule & rules may or may not change in the college for EAMCET Convenor Quota.
Management Quota : Category- B
The schudule rules & regulations for management Quota are announced by APSCHE ( Andhra Pradesh State Council of Higher Education) every year.
AP State Govt.reviews the tution & other fee every 3 years or as the case may be for every college. AP State Govt. has notified Fee Rs.74,000/- per year for Category -A & Category -B seats (Who admitted in the year of 2013-14) for G.Pulla Reddy College of Pharmacy.The fee can be paid in two installments in a year, during the start of the semester. However, Special Fee of Rs. 5,500/-per First year and Rs.2,500/- remaining every year is common for both the categories.
CURRICULUM & SYLLABUS
The University Board of Studies in Pharmacy notifies the academic calendar. The Board of Studies in Pharmacy of Osmania University decides the syllabus and the syllabus is reviewed as and when it is necessary . The present syllabus is effective from 2003-04 academic year with minor changes in between.
